Constant Voltage Transformer

Introduction:

Computers and sensitive electronic equipment demand strict voltage regulation and protection from line-noise, surges and spikes.

SUVIK VOLTLINE Constant Voltage Transformers are used for obtaining AC supply within very close tolerance from fluctuating mains. CVT Systems are based on static, magnetic (Ferro Resonant) principle. The magnetic core at the secondary winding is saturated, whereas the flux in the primary magnetic circuit is unsaturated. A special resonance circuit at the output is used to tune the output at a frequency very close to 50 Hz. This results in instantaneous voltage regulation and elimination of transients and spikes, maintaining sine-wave output and high galvanic isolation between input & output.
